Summer Events

Bok!

As well as going to Croatia for a wee summer holiday, I’ll also be doing a few bookish events while the Scottish sun lasts, chatting about PAPERBOY, shredding, and super rats.

Thursday 19th June @ Daydreams Bookshop, Milngavie

As part of Independent Bookshop Week, I’m absolutely thrilled to be heading to Daydreams Bookshop to chat with the brilliant and gobby Martin Stewart, author of DOUBLE PROOF. We’re both purveyors of Glasgow-based, patter-heavy comedy/tragedy/violenty crime stories so I’m excited to see how this one plays out. Tix here.

Sunday 22nd June @ The Not-So-Secret Book Festival, Carrickfergus, NI

My first gig in Northern Ireland! I’m heading to the village of Carrickfergus, not far out from Belfast, to attend a new book festival created by the brilliant Secret Bookshop. I’ll be on a panel about ‘The Funny Side of Noir’ with living legend Colin Bateman (MURPHY’S LAW), chaired by James Murphy (HOW TO BE DEAD). This is a café gig, so should come with a decent brew. Tix here.

Friday 29th August @ Bothwell Community Hub

One of a new exciting series of author talks with Elissa Soave (GINGER AND ME) set up by Bothwell Futures. I’ll be chatting with the brilliant debut author Claire Wilson (FIVE BY FIVE), chaired by Elissa. Tix here.
