Winter is finally thawing and all is coming back to life!
Time for me to hit the book shops and festivals again, with my first few gigs of 2026 coming up this month.
First up is the launch of PAPERBOY in paperback on 12th March. This is taking place at the lovely Bookmonger in Bearsden, where not only can you buy books but also fancy cheeses and wines, what a set up!
Next is a stop in Alexandria at the new Caffeinated Escapism Bookstore on Friday the 27th. This a brilliant wee shop opened last year with a focus on genre and good coffee. They also have a cosy lounge/second hand book section upstairs where the event is taking place.
The Friday also sees the kick off of Reading Minds–Helensburgh Book Festival 2026. This is one of my favourites and I’ve done events there two years in a row now. They have an incredible line up this year and I’m grateful to be taking part once again. This time I’ll be interviewing the excellent Foday Mannah about his award-winning debut The Search for Othella Savage on Saturday 28th.
Cannot wait! On with Spring!
