This Friday I’m off to Alexandria to visit Caffeinated Escapism, an excellent wee indie bookshop (which also serves incredible coffee) which opened last year.
Kicking off at 6.30pm upstairs in the shop’s cozy events and secondhand book space, I’m going to be chatting about PAPERBOY, which came out in paperback earlier this month, and looking forward to RAT RACE, out in May.
It’s free and you can reserve your space here. Come along, get a coffee, have a blether, it’s gonna be fun!
This will be the start of an excellent weekend for me as I’ll be heading straight to Helensburgh after the gig for the start of Reading Minds–Helensburgh Book Festival.
HBF has an incredible line up this year, with Len Pennie, Denise Mina, Tariq Ashkanani, DV Bishop and many other class authors taking part. I myself will be interviewing the lovely Foday Mannah on the Saturday about his incredible prize-winning debut, THE SEARCH FOR OTHELLA SAVAGE.
