Hallo! September was a bit mad, but while October is going to be a bit quieter, I’ve still got a few exciting things on.
First off, did I mention I’m interviewing PETER JAMES? Thee Peter James. Peter Fucking James. Mr Roy Grace. Her Majesty’s Peter James, OBE. I did? Oh, well I am. I’ll be chatting to him about the latest in the Grace series DEAD IN THREE TWO ONE at Daydreams Bookshop in Milngavie on the 12th.
(This has been an incredible year for me in terms getting to interview absolute legends of crime – Ann Cleeves, Chris Brookmyre, Steve Cavanagh, Alan Parks, Foday Mannah and now PJ. Wonderful opportunities!)
Towards the end of the month I’ll be appearing with the always brilliant Daniel Aubrey at Sarah Smith’s Books at the Green series of author talks at the Partickhill Bowling and Community Club. (Tue 27th)
Then it’s the big Hallowe’en do! Back to Daydreams at Milngavie to host the Hallowe’en Noir at the Bar special with wee bro Cailean Steed. (Wed 28th)
The roster for this is insane. We’ve got (deep breath): Chris Brookmyre, Tariq Ashkanani, Alys Cummigs, Linda Duncan McLaughlan, Gavin Bell, Suzy Aspley, Nicholas Binge, Natalie Jayne Clark and multi-prizewinning debut Frances Crawford.
Come on!
